I made a claim for pip on the 4th October had a decision which confirmed I had been approved for pip on the 19th december.
I received a payment of £645.01 but still haven't had a decision letter or any other payments .

That's a very quick decision. The letter normally takes a couple of weeks but may take longer due to Christmas holiday period and strike action.
The payment you have received will be for arrears from 4th October. The next payment is likely to be roughly 4 weeks from the last one. You will then get paid at 4 weekly intervals.
When you get the decision letter you can challenge the decision if you don't agree with what you have been awarded.0 -

PIP is made up of 2 parts, daily living and mobility and they are both paid together.

I should have said - any award will only start from 4th October if you had already had the health conditions for three months prior to claiming. If not the claim will start from 3 months after the health problems started, calcotti said:The payment you have received will be for arrears from 4th October...0 -
