I have just been awarded LCWRA, I have in the past bought and sold on Ebay. Am I still allowed to do this Part Time and if I am what am I permitted to earn and what hours am I permitted to work. I am not in receipt of any other benefits other then Universal Credit. Thanks in anticipation of your advice.

You're not limited to the amount of hours you can work. Your UC is based on earning received during your assessment period. You will have the work allowance which means you can receive a certain amount of earnings each month before the 55% deductions apply.

If you claim for help with any rent your work allowance will be £344/month, if you don't it will be £573. As self employed you will still be expected to report your earnings and expenses on the last day of your assessment period.

You do need to inform UC about any work you do and you will be required, as mentioned by poppy, to report by on the last day of each UC assessment period, your self employed income and expenditure (on a cash basis). The difference will be treated as your earnings.

Remember though that you've been assessed for no work and related activities because you've said your conditions affect your ability to work, if you then work and earn this may affect your review, they could make you fit for work.
