Good morning all, I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were any local charities or organisations that could possibly help. I’m in desperate need of a suitable bed due to my disability’s but don’t no much about any charities etc.. Could someone please point me in the right direction with some advice. Thankyou ever so much. 😊

There's been others here in the past asking for this and i'm not aware of any grants specifically for beds. You can check on this link to see if there's anything available https://www.disability-grants.org/grants-for-household-items.html

You can also speak to your local Authority who may have some funding left from the household support fund. Whether it's possible will depend which bed you want and the cost.

    Hello @charlotte84

I found some information on the GOV website. I know this talks about physical changes to your home but I wonder if by going through the process (as it links to your council), it may shed a light on whether that service would help or direct you to another that could?

It's very unlikely that a DFG will pay for a bed.

Hi I got a bed offered to me after an operation from the NHS so this could be a route you could go down Do you know what sort of bed you need?
