Hi and welcome to the community
I'm not sure there would be grants but if you get enhanced mobility on pip you can use the motability scheme to lease a power chair
You could also be eligible for one on NHS dependent on meeting the criteria of wheelchair services you will need a referral from gp or ot
Mobility shops also do lease options1 -
Hi @call1 and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you doing?
It's great you found us when wondering about this, and in addition to Janer's advice, I'd point you to Scope's 'Grants for wheelchairs' advice page which has been written specifically with this in mind. I hope it helps and I appreciate how costly an expense they are - I really hope you have some luck.
Just to let you know, I've moved your thread to our Aids, adaptations and equipment category and amended the title to help others more easily spot it and reply.
All the best and hope to speak again soon.1
