cuppa tea and a chat?

Does anyone know of any social groups in the Sandwell area for physically disabled adults and their carers?
Both my Wife & myself are feeling pretty isolated, we'd love to see a different face and meet new people for a cuppa and a chat

Hi @bazt Thanks for posting about this! I'd agree with teddybear12 that your local council might be a good place to start. Your GP may also be able to point you in the direction of some local groups.
You could also have a look for groups on sites like Meetup. I had a browse, and it looks as though there are a few around Sandwell, including some coffee mornings1 -
Thanks for the advice, she really is struggling now, but I hope that we are able to find something for her, I'm open to suggestion to help her so I'm gonna investigate!

Hello @BazT
I would also have a look to any local groups that link to your interests. I felt pretty isolated after a run of bad health and lockdown. I joined a local genealogy group and there are regular meetings I can attend in person and virtually that have helped my hobby and got me out the house more0 -

Thanks & appreciation to those who replied to my recent Q, very appreciated and has given us avenues to explore, my Wife found a group on Facebook which may be of interest to other group members Housebound Friends.
