The majority of people have reviews for both LCWRA and PIP. The longest PIP award is 10 years. For LCWRA it's an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
My conditions will never change so why waste there time 🤨 there both life long

There are lots of people whose conditions will never change and they also have reviews. At your next PIP review you can ask for a longer award but you'll need to tell them why you think your award should be longer. Remember though that it's not about a diagnosis.

that’s not fair

It's logical because LCWRA is about ability to work and people can get PIP but be able to work, many people do. Pensioners are not expected to work anyway so there's not much point assessing them for work and those on enhanced Daily Living PIP or Attendance Allowance are automatically treated as having LCWRA, those on standard rate Daily Living PIP do still have to have a Work Capability Assessment. Of course this only applies to pensioners in 'mixed age' couples because if they are single or in pension age couple they will not be receiving UC anyway.
There are some other groups are automatically treated as having LCWRA, those with certain health conditions and those who might die within 12 months.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
