Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows a particular place to go to look for jobs for myself who has physical and mental health disabilities. It is a lot harder than I thought to access real employment in this criteria. I did feel like giving up on everything at one point, there is no real help, I was put on the mental health team for PTSD/ grief/a number of other traumas, told my break down and depression was due to all these unresolved traumas, given anti depressants, got a letter from mental health team saying I was being put on a care plan?? then didn't hear anything for weeks, I had to call them! anyway the point I am getting to is I find it so so hard to ask for help, I went ten years after my son passed away carrying on trying to be a strong mother for my remaining three children, but things got really bad about 6 months ago, and I was sucked into darkness and hell, so I asked for help from my doctor, got referred, had assessment, spoke to a Psychiatrist on the phone for maybe 10 minutes, as my appointment got cancelled day before my face to face with him, literally I am a the point of no return, so I am trying to get back to work, but I have arthritis in my hips and spine so I cant stand for long and walking is incredibly painful, But cant find any jobs. I apologise for my rambling, I really just don't know what I am meant to do, I am getting £249 per month from universal credits to survive, they are paying for my rent, I have only been out of work for 5 months due to my health conditions, but no one is helping me with anything, I am a in need of some kind of help please.
Thank you for this platform, I feel better having somewhere to at least write how i feel, even if no one hears me. xx
