I had my PIP assessment on Monday still really worried that I won't get, because the man didn't seem very nice he was talking really fast, plus I was so distressed that I even started crying a couple of times and he didn't ask if i needed a moment to get myself together, he just seemed very cold and and uncaring. Just don't think I will get it. I am suffering with Trigeminal Neuralgia, Chronic Fatigue, Chronic body pain and Anxiety and Depression so I really need Pip.

It's very easy to second guess yourself after any assessment. At this point it's impossible to predict anything. You've done everything you can for now and you just need to wait for the decision.I know it's difficult but please try to concentrate on something else while you wait. Once the report is returned a decision can take up to 12 weeks. Some have a decision before that though.1

@Palmtree125 I'm sorry your PIP assessment left you feeling low. It isn't a nice situation for most, and I truly understand where you're coming from - I've been there myself unfortunately.
Whilst you're waiting for a decision, it's best to try and distract yourself from any negative thoughts about what might happen. If you feel those thoughts coming, try to change your focus of attention and let it goAre you getting support from your GP or a care professional with your various conditions and depression?
Please let us know how you get on, and if you need support we're always here for you.0 -

Good advice from Cher, getting a nice / good assessor is luck of the draw, it depends how strategic the assessment companies are. But distraction is the best way, at this moment you have nothing to worry about because you have no decision. Do stuff like, read, bake, music, hoover etc, when you start thinking about it.

@Cher_Scope Hi thanks for your advice appreciate your kind word's, I was having counselling and the last session I had was in December she said she going find out if there was any other help or support that could be offered to me, so i'm still wait to hear from her. My doctor doesn't seem very caring so I don't really so I don't feel like I can say much.0
