PIP text yesterday from independent assessment services

Good afternoon hope you are all having a good day.
I  need a bit of input regarding a text I received yesterday which said
Hello from independent assessment services we conduct PIP Assessments for Department for Work and Pensions. This is for information purposes only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to have a consultation with you.
Has anyone else had this text message and if so do you know roughly how much longer I could be waiting for them to deal with my review claim which was received by the DWP in OCTOBER 2021.
I am wondering if I triggered something as I sent further evidence which was from my consultant which I know they received yesterday as I sent if tracked Royal Mail.

I realise there is a huge backlog and DWP are now extending the date by around 12 months or more for Reviews …..but it’s not our fault and we are the ones to suffer.

Previously since them receiving my review form I have only had 2 texts which were from DWP and they were worded …. We still have your PIP form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can you may still need an assessment with a health professional and those were sent to me in March 2022 and September 2022.

Am I now getting any closer to a decision with that text yesterday?
TIA

It's a standard text. Another member posted yesterday saying they had exactly the same message. I don't think sending extra evidence had anything to do with this, it's just a coincidence. How long it will take from here is anyone's guess.

Possibly a coincidence but I had exactly the same text a couple of days ago.  Sent my forms 2 months earlier than yours.

I'm hoping the text means the forms are now with an assessor...  But I guess it could just be an automated reminder rather than suggesting we're near to the decision...  :#

    Thank you for replying,
I guess I’ll just have to wait a bit longer, but the time they are taking for Reviews is diabolical.

OverlyAnxious I am just keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 that an assessor is now starting to deal with it, but who knows, as I was told in March 2022 when I called them that my review was waiting to be looked at by an assessor but they were short of assessors.

Would be interesting 🤔 to know if anyone else can beat your record of nearly 18 months for a decision.

The wait sounds really difficult for you at the moment @te1. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer.

In the meantime, please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can do to support you. We are all here for you and listening to you  :)

Hi all, I realise this post is from a while ago but I have received the same text after sending my review form back last month.. it's just set my anxiety through the roof worrying about loosing my pip or them wanting a consultation.

Could I ask what the outcome was after your text?

    TIA Annie:) x
