Epilepsy and Memory

In 2019 I was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. Since then its been my goal to study human neuroscience, specifically epilepsy. I'm a third year university student and for my dissertation I decided to study Epilepsy and Memory, something that effects me personally. I would really appreciate it if other individuals with epilepsy could be apart of my research and complete 2 short questionnaires and a short memory test, both of which will take no longer than 15 minuets and can be found using the link below 😀

Interesting study but the numbers on the short term memory test flashed up to quickly & may cause problems for those with photosensitive epilepsy. It gave me a headache. Also, there was not enough space to list all my medication. It asks for primary medication but I don't regard any of them as primary. They are as important as each other. Itwould be interesting to see the final dissertation if possible?0

Best of luck with this @Jaydenlogan15. Also, thank you for taking into account feedback from our wonderful community members about the potential to be a trigger for some people with epilepsy.
Really pleased to hear it didn't affect your seizure risk @woodbine. Thank you for raising this point though, for anyone it might affect0 -
My mother suffers from epilepsy all her life, she is now 75, her short term memory is poor but can sing out poetry, hymns from her childhood, i'm guessing it's a mix of the medication she is taking and old age!0

Thanks for sharing this with us @bwlch1. I can hear how her long-term memory is better than her short-term memory1
