Carer element

Hello, I get the carer element on uc for my son who receives dla. I won my pip tribunal, will my husband be allowed to claim the carer element for me or will they not allow this as I get it for my son? Thanks x

    Yes, if your PIP include the daily living part providing your husband doesn't claim the LCWRA element for himself, there's no rules saying you can't claim 2 carers element on one claim.

    Hello, thank you for the reply. Yes I was awarded enhanced rate care and no my husband doesn’t claim Lcwra. I was just worried they may say no as I’m already getting the carer element and now my husband would be claiming the carer element for me. Thanks x
