I heard you can get a disabled card to show when you go out I was just wondering where you apply

There's a disabled I.D card. https://www.did-card.co.uk/ There's another here, which is similar. https://www.disabilityid.co.uk/
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Thank you x

What are you thinking you could use a disability card for? I have never heard of one before.

I don’t know yet someone told me if you go to attracation places and the cinema it’s cheaper

I've never personally had one and very unlikely i ever will. If i go out with my daughter, it's just as easy to take our PIP awards with us for proof. For the cinema she has a CEA card.

I find using the disability card easier as it can just be in your purse/wallet rather than taking your letters around with you especially as I have an invisible disability.

I don’t have problems quite often staff will recognise your problems. I’ve had no issues with trays being bought over. All you need to do is ASK. You don’t need a special card.

Hmmm. I didn't know there was such a thing as a disabled card - but in fact I agree with @smitch101 that it could be handy. Not for the cinema as we have the CEA card.
But for other attractions if i book a disabled ticket at a cheaper rate, i usually take pip paperwork and all sorts. In actual fact, we have never been asked for proof on arriving at the attraction but i always take proof, just in case. A card would be great! -
Much simpler get a sunflower lanyard or card. A lot of places recognise this and it’s free permanently
