You can’t get premiums on contribution based ESA.
Are you on the old ESA (which can be a mix of contribution based and income based ESA) or are you on new style ESA?
I’m not clear what the £349 you refer to is. Are you possibly referring to the LCWRA element of UC, if so that has nothing to do with ESA.
If on the old ESA you would have a premium included when calculating maximum income based ESA but your husband’s pension income would be deducted which would result in no income based ESA being payable. If you have joint savings over £16000 you are excluded from income based ESA anyway.
Do you have joint savings over £16,000?
Do you rent or own your home?Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
Hi thanks for your reply I'm on the new esa so I get nothing only 117 a week I'm not entitled to the Lcwra what that all about if I'm not on unversal credit I not going to get it then

LCWRA is part of UC so if you're not entitled to UC then you won't be entitled to the LCWRA element. If it's New style ESA you're claiming then the £117.60 per week is the maximum amount you'll receive.Which ESA are you claiming? Is it New style or the old contributions based? If your claim started after December 2018 then it will be New style ESA and there's no disability premium payable with this. You haven't answered the questions calcotti asked here.calcotti said:

Do you have joint savings over £16,000? Do you receive any other benefits? Do you rent or own your home? Do you live with a partner? Do you have children? These are all questions that would affect possible entitlement to UC.
You can use a benefits calculator if you wish.
