    I actually don't mind Potted Meat sandwiches, my late Grandad used to call it Potted Meyt lol.

    You must be a southerner, lol. Meat and bone from the shin of a cow. It spreads on toast quite niicely!

    I gave up meat on ethical grounds, the dairy bit sort of just happened quite recently. My maternal grandfather would be speechless, a butcher who worked for about 64 years in the trade.

    @SheffieldMan1976 … I'm with you on textures. Prawns. Hummus. Cottage Cheese and things like that. My head just won't tolerate the texture and I'm chucking

    (But love all the individual components of Hummus … the chickpeas, the tahini. Go figure 😏)

    @ColonelBlink … that Lebanese dish sounds lush. Even with chickpeas 🤣

    We're trying to go more meat free, and going for more fish based dishes

    Funny, that and poultry were all I would eat as a child. Organic chicken is the only meat I would eat now, if I could afford it!
