SDP isn't automatically paid, whether you're entitled to it will depend on who you live with and whether anyone claims either carers allowance or carers element of UC for looking after you.

If you live with a partner or any other adults they must also be claiming either a qualifying disability benefit such as PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care, AA or be registered blind.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

I live with my daughter but she works. Does this mean I can’t claim it?

Unless she has a disability benefit then you are not eligible for SDP (I assume she is an adult). As poppy said

Able bodied family members who live with you are expected to assist you, if you live alone the SDP is intended to help with paying people to help you. (I'm not making any comment on the merit of that argument - the government have decided SDP is illogical and have therefore removed it from UC.)
