ESA overpayments?

Hi! If PIP is your only income, can an ESA overpayment be taken/recovered from your PIP? I please ask that if you are not sure please don’t reply, I need certainty. Thanks

Yes, if you owe DWP any money then they can recover this from any money they owe you. If you don't make arrangements for the overpayment to be repaid back then they can reduce your PIP to recover it.If PIP is your only income and you don't have savings of more than £16,000 have you checked entitlement to Universal Credit? If you live with a partner you need to claim as a couple and your joint circumstances will be taken into consideration. I tried your link, but as I’m a full time student it says it “cannot guarantee the accuracy of our estimates” and won’t continue with the calculator.0 -
