I'm new here just want some advice. I recently received for my assessment report for pip. I have worked the points put from report and it shows entitlement to both care and mobility. Do the DM go with report or make their own decision.

The Decision Maker generally does go with the report although I would say that with caution. You should expect a decision to be made within 2-12 weeks.0 -
Morning @Donboy welcome to the group.
I'm sorry i'm not able to answer your question, but we do have a few experts in the group, so hopefully they will pick up on your question.
In the mean time you could also go into Categories there is a dedicated page to pip ect.0 -

@poppy123456 it's only been a week since assessment and I can't stop stressing. The report was accurate at how condition affects me and scored enough pints. Just hope the DM goes with report otherwise I will do a MR.0

It's always a stressful time @Donboy the wait can be as stressful as building yourself up for the assessment.
Try and find something to keep your mind of it, hang around the site, with the amount of things you can read up on or join in with, i can be on for an age, it's a very good distraction. It will help you to stay busy and take your mind of things. Good luck and have a great day.0 -
A decision can take up to 12 weeks once the report was returned to DWP. I know it's difficult but try to think of something else while you wait.

@poppy123456 if I have to do a MR will the assessors report be good for evidence on her advice of wht I should be scored0
-
No because they already have a copy of that anyway. Please try to relax, it's rare they go against the report.

Hello @Donboy
Welcome to the community! I see your query has already been answered, but I wanted to let you know that I popped your post into our PIP, DLA and AA section of the forum, should you have anymore questions or queries
I agree with Poppy to try and relax, although I know it's easier said than done! Do you have any hobbies that could help you keep your mind of things?0 -
