State Pension Query

Hello all I wonder if anyone can help me out with a query regarding my dad, he used to be my mums carer and claimed carers allowance they claimed together. Since he has become of state pension age the carers allowance has now stopped but he still cares. He also doesn’t receive free dental treatment since being on state pension. Can anyone help me with knowing what he is entitled to and if this is right. Thankyou all

Does he get or is he entitled to pension credit @charlotte84? As if he got this then I think there's a carer premium and he'd then be entitled to free dental etc with pension credit too.

CA stops once pension age is reached SP is in payment. He retains an 'underlying entitlement' to CA which can increase other benefits.
Is your mother pension age or working age? What benefits does she receive?
Do they rent their home or own it?Biblioklept said:Does he get or is he entitled to pension credit @charlotte84?
