I was looking at what actually fills my life now that, things are "settling down" now.
Every thing is starting to get back to "normal" people are starting to see me back at the hospital's, tablets and prescriptions are being reviewed regularly, and retired means " retired" 'ish.
Its time to spend time running around the country, looking and visiting places that I never had time to visit, or the inclination to because there was always some thing else to do.
I used to say to others, slow down and remember fix number one first, (YOU) because who will help you when your in bed and can't cope?
Cardiff, has become an interest for me having lived there for 64 out of 72 years. and am still finding places to visit. That said I love West Wales and along the coast to St David's and round there.
It just goes to show, how much some people, (and I admit I am one) have so much to discover about Wales and these hidden treasures.
Although I have been adventurous around South Wales, St David's and working my self "up Country" over the years I am still finding new places to visit even now. You would think after 40 years around Tenby area you have seen it all? No. Its started again about 5 years ago with the Grandson's and Daughter's, I feel like a tour guide yet I haven't scratched the surface.
Have to see where this "NEW" on the map and make a weekend run with the kids. Its a break away from the Monday blues...... this new place? is in North Wales.
SO, my question is what are you doing now to "fill your time" that you couldn't do during the Pandemic? I was thinking more about travel, but not only applicable to this as if like me you have started painting again, I have combined Photography with painting so I have combined both? What do you do?

We love visiting places in our big country @onebigvoice - when we worked we didn't travel out much on a Sunday because of being prepared for work on Mondays, we now look at Sunday as our new start to the week, one good thing about being able to visit places now in the week is how quiet and peaceful the areas can be.0

What a good question @onebigvoice
I was only speaking to my husband yesterday about the surreal time that was the pandemic as it's peak. It seems like a strange dream (or nightmare) and has made me very thankful for the little stuff. I'm enjoying seeing my friends again, we try to socialise once a month and go out for a meal and drinks. I've also signed up for a few running events in various cities with my running club, and obviously enjoy taking my little boy to farms, soft play etc.
I'm a massive fan of Wales too, especially the West coast as you say. Have you heard of a little village called Aberaeron? That's one of our favourites

I joined a bowling club which I enjoy, meet friends for lunch once a week, go to the theatre again, joined U3A, and I am hoping to do an OU degree. That it for now.
Don't know if you have played him Josh Wilder who is being coached by the Welsh Champion Mr Greenslade, I worked with His Dad Les for many years. A small world, knew his son bowled but didn't put it as the same Greenslade.
See what happens when you have spare time.....0
