Learning a lesson in another language

I've always wanted to learn Welsh, and am now on the first pages of the beginners book for Welsh speaking. My friend who does speak Welsh said to throw the book away and would teach me.
This is what she gave me for starters.

I then found other books like speak Spanglese, or Italiano made easy? So easy I picked it up within 30 seconds and am now fluent in both.
Give is a go..... Italian, 'al 'O, eye speeeka da italiano jus a like my mama.
or, French. To Restaurant: Doa yous a speak Englese, Good, doa you have Frogs leggs? Yes, Wedll hop over here and take my order......
NO sorry, this was not meant to be offensive in any way, but a bit of fun and have noted over the years how English people communicate when talking to some one that does not have English as a first Language.
Last night in a store near me was a man speaking to an employee in Broken English/French and although I don't speak French well I understood that there were no bags for the fresh fruit he was trying to purchase and there was no scales to weigh or produce a Ticket either. So in my Broken french I said the bags are on the other side of that counter along with the scales. he then asked me if I spoke French, sorry no, not well.
Have you have an amusing talk with someone who didn't speak English?
Mine was when on my Honeymoon, and went into a shop and asking for a box of matches. I ended up with about 7 people none of which spoke English playing, 4 words first word.......... until one guy who was laughing right through the whole thing had told the others lets have some fun and don't say you speak English, I went into that shop every day for two weeks we were their and made some great friend who told me about some places to visit and restaurants to have a good cheap meal.
So how about you.
