I had colonoscopy in 2021, and discovered I have diverticular disease. I've struggled since then with pain , alternating constipation and diarrhea, no help from doc,any advice on what to do when it flares up.? By the way,doc thought it was ibs

I have popped your post into our Rare, Invisible and undiagnosed conditions section of the forum, in case any one else in the community has advice
I also went through the IBS misdiagnosis before being told I have IBD. I would go back to the GP and see if they can refer you to a specialist at the Hospital, if you do not have one already. They should be able to help and monitor the flare ups too.0
