Disabled child allowance

Due to me moving back in with my partner and me been on uc while she was on legacy we had to change to a joint uc claim.
while on child tax credits they paid £65 a week as he receives DLA at middle rate for living and lower rate for mobility. Uc now only allow £132.89 or £30.66 a week a reduction of £34.34 a week or £148.80 a month!
I did hear there was a court case in which the judge ruled that DWP had to put this right, as it clearly discriminates against disabled children. Has anyone on here heard anything or have a link to the ruling?
thanks in advance for any information.

That persons situation was completely different to yours. They way i read it was that they were forced to claim UC because of an incorrect decision made by DWP.You were forced to claim UC because of moving in with your partner and therefore this forced a move across, which is correct. You can read the judgement here. https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/TD-and-Ors-v-SSWP-judgment-Final.pdfMore details on CPAG here. https://cpag.org.uk/news-blogs/news-listings/households-worse-universal-credit-win-court-appeal-test-case
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
