It's Pancake Day today!
Whose decided on pancakes for breakfast? or will you be eating some later? Who isn't the biggest fan of pancakes?
There are so many accompaniments to pancakes. I like the traditional sugar and lemon but I've seen people use jams and spreads.
If you eat them, what do you like to put on your pancakes?

I like the American pancakes the big fluffy ones but I hate the 1s we do.1

Yeah I'm the same, I don't mind the fluffy small american style ones, but the thin make your own batter ones I don't like and never have. But even the american ones are just okay and wouldn't go out my way to buy them.

I agree I once as a child put nearly a whole jar of jam on to make it taste nice, it ended up in the bin lol. I think the American ones are cake texture somehow, that's why I like them. But as you say I wouldn't go to buy them, unless grandkids were over.1

I like traditional british pancakes, lots of syrup, lemon and sugar. Yum!3

I once made my American friend British style pancakes. It is fair to say I offended her0

They can be sweet or savory, I think banana, chocolate spread maybe something to give it a bit of a kick, chili.1

I've seen a new trend on social media... Pancakes and gravy?!0

I like American Pancakes with bacon and maypole syrup or Nutella.1

Traditional with lemon and sugar on pancake day.
I do love the American ones though and our little Scottish ones are perfect warmed up and put with ice cream and squirty treat sauces.
All pancakes are super yummy1 -
My fave are traditional lemon and sugar ones.....but none for me this year because I have given up sugar (and don't do other sweeteners either). This thread has had me salivating!!!1
