It could be at least several months possibly longer. You can contact HMCTS to ask them what the waiting times are for your area and they will give a timescale but it's only a guide.

Hi everyone, I'm new here . I cannot remember how long I've been waiting to hear about the pip tribunal. It seems ages now . I'm starting to wonder if I've done the right thing in applying . I just don't know .0

Received letter from court last Friday, they asked me if i can provide all my notes and papers from GP. They said i have to phone gp and ask for a copy of my history or i can just ask them to proceed without. Is it something normal? They keep my case for over 5 months and now they asked for GP notes however i’ve sent these all with my initial PIP application.0

Hello @chudysanchez I think it would be worth phoning your GP if you feel able to, as I'm not sure if the tribunal will have access to everything you sent with your initial PIP application.
Hi @Strawberry1 I'm sorry you've been having such a long wait to hear anything about your tribunal, I'm sure you're not alone in that. I've seen plenty of members encourage others to stick with it if they can. The community is here if you need support0 -
Hi, so just a quick update. I had my tribunal hearing yesterday. After almost 2 years I won my case ! The judge told me the reason they asked me for all my GP notes was to make their decision even without me going to court however I decided to go there in person. They said all money will be backdated and from 4 points I jumped to 9 points on daily living and 10 points on standard mobility.
If anyone would like to ask some questions I'm happy to share my experience if this will help you, especially if you claim pip for deafness.
Thank you for all your advice !2 -
