bobbyb said:i no thats what the case worker said at pip but theres no appointment on the system of the phone call its not even on record and she said they dont phone from mobile numbers or saturday she checked with the assesment teams and they said no appointment even booked yet xThere doesn't need to be an appointment on the system. If they ring just to ask a few questions like this then they will ring without sending an appiontment date/time.They do sometimes ring on the weekend, it depends on the work load. Just because it was a mobile number it doesn't mean it wasn't anyone from DWP or the health assessment providers. Please remember that when you ring PIP you're speaking to someone from a call centre, who often have very little knowledge. They mostly read from a screen in front of them or just tell you what you want to hear.0

They put me through to a case worker and she's going to give it a week to see if any thing shows up on the system the person who called still shouldn't of said the rates though as its not up to them x0
-
And the phone number does go to answer phone saying a nurse from the dwp so still hopefully we will get some sort of award x0

As the person told you they were a nurse i wouldn't say it was a decision maker that rang you. Very odd that they told you that you have an award of Enhanced for both and you'll receive the decision letter in about 2 weeks. If it was the assessor that rang you then once the report is written and returned to DWP a decision can take up to 12 weeks.0

I no I'm just going to wait and see now the case worker I spoke to was very helpful and has said she will keep an eye on my application for the rest of the week and if any thing comes up she will ring me she has all ready run me back twice today like she said she would so hopefully she will if any thing shows x0

My hubby got a mobile call from a PIP DM on a Sunday, so they call on weekends0
-
thank you im just hoping they are taking there time getting everything back to dwp did your hubby have an appointment or was it and unexpected call x0
-
It was a few days after assessment regarding whether he wanted a lump sum or installments0
-
We also missed the call because it was unexpected but she called back numerous times. They have to contact people who have been awarded large backpayments of over £3000, especially if they have a vulnerability marker on file because someone died of a drug overdose who got paid £12,000 a few years back.0

It was a nurse who phoned me and she told me the award but she shouldn't have as she's not a dm x0
