i was on JSA and became unwell with a long term illness, my first fit note was dated 26/08/2022, i stayed on JSA for about three months before switching to UC, i made a claim for UC on the 10/11/2022 i had my first UC payment on 30/01/2023, i was referred for a WCA on the 5/1/2023, and i have the WCA appointment on the 29/03/2023, if all goes well and i am put in the LCWRA, knowing the dates above, what backdate if any should i get, again there are no gaps in my fit nots, just don't fully understand the tree month thing with how it would apply to me, i also claim PIP if that helps can provide dates if needed
thank you for any help

The time when you were claiming JSA doesn't count. It only counts from when you reported your health condition for UC and sent a fit note within 7 days of that.If you reported your health condition when you first claimed UC, supported by a fit note then your waiting period will be Nov to Feb... LCWRA starts from 10th Feb to 9th March and first payment for LCWRA will be 16th March. No LCWRA element is owed.0
