My PIP Timeline - From Application To Receiving 1st Payment

Jan 18th 2023 - called PIP saying I wanted to apply & also filled in the online application process that day.
14th February 2023 - received a text informing me that my phone assessment was to be carried out on February 27th 2023 at 12,30pm.
The assessor called promptly on time on the 27th February 2023
3rd march 2023 - I received a text saying the DWP had received my written assessment & that a decision should be made within 8 weeks.
10th march 2023 - I received a call from the DWP saying no decision was made yet regarding my PIP assessment BUT theoretically could I manage a large lump sum were i successful in my application for PIP
14th march 2023 I received a text saying I had been awarded PIP & that the covering letter would arrive within two weeks.
17th march 2023 - full lump sum backdated to January 18th 2023 arrived in my bank.

They seem to be working through new claims quickly atm, I applied 10th feb, assessment 10th march, report received 14th march had call this morning about if i could manage a lump sum1
