Hey everyone i am hoping that someone can give me a bit of advice please, i have been awarded pip, i am waiting on a letter . they said it could be 2 weeks. i had a message on the 16th march. does letter take that long to come once i had the message. as im not sure whether im on high rate or low rate. either way will i get back pay from the 5th Jan when i first rang. or from the date of the assessment which was 28th Feb..
i thought it would take longer to be honest, I'm jus glad to have passed it as my anxiety has gone through the roof and i haven't been able to sleep much or eat, especially cost of living. Is there anything else i will get now because i have been reward pip x
I just want to thank anyone who takes time to reply to my message as i am new to this and i haven't got clue if I'm doing this right. so apologies to anyone if I'm writing this wrong x

Well done on your claim. Yes the letter could take upto 2 weeks. I'm not to sure what other help you will get, as i don't claim UC myself yet I'm on the old style benefits. I'm sure someone with more knowledge then me will answer you question soon0

It's not a problem. You'll find there will be more people comment soon. I think there's something called disability premium that gets added on but not to sure how it works. I expect poppy will soon be on to tell you more about them.. there are some really great people on here that will point you in the right direction.0
