Hello. My name is Helen. Could someone advise me if I need to inform ESA that I have been awarded LCWRA? I am claiming UC, ESA & PIP. I was informed I was awarded LCWRA on 17th March 2023. I am worried about who I am obliged to inform. For eg should i inform Council Tax ? Thank you in advance for any reply.

As you were found to have LCWRA you will also be placed into the Support Group for ESA from the 14th week of your claim. Your ESA will increase 10 £117.60/week but it will continue to be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. You can contact them to tell them what the decision is on your WCA.For UC you will be entitled to an extra £354.28/month from the 4th month of your claim starting from when you reported your health condition. You can report the changes to your local Authority but usually CTR is calculated based on your UC entitlement.0
