Hello I wanted to ask whether I could ask to be reassessed with universal credit as I recently made a move to UC due to having a baby. I am receiving the Lcw amount but was advised I can ask to be reassessed to try and get the higher lcwra and would mean I don't have to prepare for work is this correct?
Sorry if it doesn't make sense just need a little help before contacting them as I don't want to lose the amount I get

You can report a change of circumstances and tell them your health condition has got worse. You will need to provide a fit note and continue to do this until a decision is made. Before doing this have you had a look at the descriptors for LCWRA to see if any of them apply? You can see them here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-work-related-activity
You would not need to attend any appointments if found to have LCWRA.0 -
Thank you for your help0

You will still be entitled to the LCW amount.
