Have no idea how my assessment went been going crazy waiting taken 2 month from when independent assessment services got my claim to have an assessment was calling up every week checking. Any idea on how long it mite take till I hear?

Hi - it can take anything from 2-12 weeks to get your decision letter. Hopefully you may hear quickly.

I was told 8 weeks on phone but they have already sent it over to pip just going crazy waiting0
-
They tell everyone 8 weeks but the guide is more like up to 12 weeks. Of course it could be less or more than that.

Unfortunately they automatically tell everyone 8 weeks, but it can be much longer (or shorter). Best if you could possibly put it out of your mind for now.0

Omg spoken to pip then gone through the assors report with me and if was up to her I would lose all my pip. My doctors have already told me what I should get point wise. I opened my heart up 2 her and she ignored me I have now raised a complaint against her.0

Please remember the assessor's report is just a recommendation, & when you think you've rung PIP you're just speaking to someone from a call centre, & if you only had your assessment today, I would be surprised that they would be able to see the assessor's report already loaded onto their system. With the best will in the world, your GP does not see all your activities of daily living, nor may they be very clued up about PIP.Kindly let us all know how you get on once you have your actual decision letter, as our members will try to advise if you need any further help with your PIP claim.1

Even if they can see the report right now any recommended points in the report are not added so i have no idea how they knew that zero points were recommended.I would take what that person said in the call centre with a big pinch of salt.0

Ive never heard of the pip contact centre reading through ur pip assessment report with you on the phone?0

The DWP, the system is 'flaky' at best.
I spoke to a very nice chap on the PIP help line, he knew I wanted to do a MR before I mentioned it, but after I asked for a copy of the report. He was very 'jovial'.
Another time when I rang up regarding MR, the person on the PIP was expecting a confrontation, she seemed so 'surprised' that I was so polite and wasn't having a go at her.0 -
Hi all to give an update on my post. I followed the complaint and got that done. People saying they don't tell me on phone what I asked was wrong. But after doing all this I have finally been awarded my full mobility so please hang in there and if need to complain then ots quicker that having to appel .
Good luck all2 -
