Hello Peeps,

Has anyone found a good way of fixing a bath lift to the base? Ours slides around on the suckers, no matter what we do! Very annoying.

Hi @Siwheels73 that doesn't sound too good, might be worth getting in touch with who fitted it they may come have a look for you

When i had one it always moved but when i was sat on it, it never moved. If it moves when you're sat on it and you had it from an OT then i would contact them.

It moves when my wife, who has no leg power, transfers off at the end of a bath. It seems that the suckers are not brilliant. Thanks for the messages.

Hi @Siwheels73, I'm just popping this in our aids, adaptations, and equipment category where it hopefully won't get lost like it might in the quicker moving coffee lounge.

@Siwheels73, I used to have an Orca bath chair. It was on suction pads but was incredibly stable to the point where it was difficult getting the chair out of the bath.

The suction pads on bath aids/chairs will degrade over time and will need replacing.
