How long do I get to ask for tribunal I had no evidence for mandatory consideration nobody helped me i went job centre yesterday and was really stressed ive had multiple problems in there my advisor moved to a younger age category so i got a new advisor I saw her yesterday for the first time and i never had a argument but she could see how stressed i was she was the first to see it there was a security guard with a stab vest in the corner what do they think im going to do ive never carried a knife ever that caused more stress she told me to get a fit note would that start the process over again i spoke to iapt they said they cant help my problems are to much for there service so he referred me to a psychiatrist i spoke to the doctor today they said i have been referred to a psychiatrist and gave me a fit note for something else do i hand that in to the jobcentre or go for tribunal or can i do both

Have you requested the Mandatory Reconsideration yet? If not then you need to do that first before you can request the Tribunal. You have 13 months to request this but you need to tell them why you didn't request it within the first month.Regarding the security guard, they usually wear the protective vests at a job centre. It's not because of you in general, it's for their safety from everyone. If you were found fit for work then another fit note for the same condition you previously used will not be accepted unless it's for a significantly worsening of condition or for a different condition. The only problem with this, is it will start the whole process all over again. The best thing to do is challenge your first decision.1

Going through the process again could see you being found fit for work if you use the same evidence you previously used. A lot of the time it’s better to take it to Tribunal.1

Glad to hear it @salty1212334, it's good to have that diagnosis confirmed as well. I hope the new prescription works well for you1
