TV presenter Sophie Morgan in 'rage at the injustice' of Blue Badge theft

The presenter on Loose Women, and soon to be Strictly Come Dancing star, who uses a wheelchair, said she would have to wait weeks for her car to be fixed and a replacement Blue Badge issued.
"I literally can't describe how disabling this is," she said, adding the inconvenience was "beyond measure".
As described in the BBC article, Sophie was away working in America when her car back in London was broken into, earlier this month. The perpetrators "smashed the window on the passenger side," she told the BBC's disability podcast, Access All.
"I had this rage in me at the injustice, all the frustration, the inconvenience, all of those feelings," she said.
The only item taken was her Blue Badge, but the loss of it hugely impacts her life.
In the BBC's Access All Podcast, she also talks about her concern over this misuse of Blue Badges, by non-disabled family members for example.
Is this something you worry about?
Why do you think Blue Badge misuse happens?

How could someone do something so cruel I would be lost without my blue badge.0

Oh gosh, I can understand how disabling that must be. It's a sad reflection of the times that one reason for theft and misuse could be people can't afford parking expenses. Whilst, I think the impact of misuse isn't thought of, with a myopic focus on how it can benefit themselves and not disadvantage others.
I hope she gets a replacement blue badge soon.0
