Went to see my key worker today

I had an appointment with my key worker earlier this afternoon. Whilst we're chatting, she had to go and speak to the man who deals with looking for job vacancies in my local town. After they'd finished talking, they came over to me and my key worker introduced us to each other.
The man I spoke to said that there's a residential care home about half an hour by bus from my home and he said that he was going to send them my CV.

@Sandy_123 I am feeling a bit nervous about it and it is the type of Care work I am looking for.

You will get training and should get someone to work with until you get the hang of things

I was told that I would a full week of training, but I'm not sure about the other as I haven't been told.

Yeah you would have to do training and then learn on the job with someone experienced

Hi @BrianmcFadden07 echoing Beaver's comment, my dad always says, "you can always say no". I've had interviews before and declined the job when it wouldn't work around my disability.

Hopefully if you get an interview, it will give you more information and help ease the nerves :)
