Hi! My name is Craig. I’m married, 60 years old, and I am living in Florida. I just permanently lost most of the vision in my left eye to Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION), which means my optic nerve no longer works. So far, the right eye is 20/20 for now, but there is now a chance of losing it as well. Like many people, I have been fearful of blindness, but now, I must turn that fear into acceptance, as I learn from others.

Hello @Canthonye
Welcome to the forum! I hope you continue to join in in Coffee Lounge with general discussions, would love to hear more about your life in Florida
I am so sorry to hear you lost your sight in your left eye, I hope that the chance for the same to happen to your right eye is low, or disappears completely as new medical advances come to light! We have a few people on the forum with visual impairments, I hope you are able to find support in our community to help with that fear.0
