My son was awarded DLA in November 2021. I only found out about child element on universal credit. I called universal credit and reported it on my universal credit account. I would like to know if I would be back dated from when I was awarded Disability living allowance and how much I would be backdated if the payment is 414.88 a month.

Hey @rosielukun. I would like to say a warm welcome to Scope's community. It is great to see you have already found the courage to reach out to us.

Do you feel comfortable asking them about the backdating? They will likely be the best people to respond to your questions about this since they are aware of their own thinking

Please feel free to let us know how it goes and if there's anything else we can do to support you  :)
