UC/esa/Lcwra

Hi, Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
I’m 60 live alone 1 bed flat
From the breakdown on the calculations after they take rent and the amount I get from esa “not that I’ve been switched yet” then my weekly uc would be £136.19
My claim seems to have been not messed up , more not done in the order that they would normally have been done.
I started to claim UC March 2022, while employed putting in fit notes , then changed jobs but with unforeseen circumstances the company ended my contract as I had health issues, so I started to put fit notes in when I claimed Uc in the may.
Now because I was at the time still receiving some payments from ex employer , the way they sort a claim eg: dates they count. I was told that I could not claim esa. My Uc was adjusted to reflect any payment s I received.
So I continued to put fit notes in , then in the June I had to attend job centre interview. He told me to put a claim in for pip and to continue to put in fit notes . Then in August I attended a meeting at the job centre and was asked why I had not had wca. I pointed out that I had been in June and told to just keep putting fit notes in.
So they said that they would send me for assessment, as then they would either make me fit for work have limited work or be put In support group on esa.
In Oct I was awarded pip enhanced daily standard mobility. Then in January this year I had assessment and was placed in the Lcwra group.
I receive Uc with the Lcwra element , when I asked why I am not now on esa they said it makes no difference to the amount you receive so no point . It was only when I said I’m not looking for more money but as I was working full time until last June getting esa would help with national insurance contributions that they said “o yeah” you get different as in class 3 not class 1 . I was told I need to make a claim.
I have made a claim but now told they will only back date 3 months. My Lcwra was backdated from Jan until aug .
Would that mean I would lose some national insurance contributions, a class one?
Since I’ve made a claim for esa I’ve been in to job centre at there request to sign something so they can pass it on to esa, as they said it should be a simple “mirror “claim.
So it should just switch “no fuss”so they say lol.
Since I’ve put claim in my Mum passed away this week “long illness “ so had time to get prepared. If that’s possible. I know that I will be left money as things have been put in place a long time ago, I plan to clear all debts. And after I’ve paid that I would be left with £15k
I know that this would be just under the limit and that I would have money deducted from Uc . Would I still get rent paid and council tax paid ?

Where I’m lost is if they pay me that do I then get a payment every 2 weeks for esa and I payment every mth from Uc and pip every 4 weeks? If yes what amount would I receive as I know I’m being placed in the support group .

Hi @topper
I'm sorry your post didn't initially get any replies, how are things now? Are you in a better position of where you stand benefits-wise? I can see you got some help from Poppy on a later thread.
I was also sorry to hear about the loss of your mum, I hope you are managing your grief ok and are coping as well as can be. If you feel that more support would be beneficial, do let us know so we can source something for you to help process those difficult emotions.
Take care and I hope to hear from you soon
