My colitis has started and I've not been well all day . Hardly anything to eat and feeling really low. Despite medication it still doesn't feel very nice at all .

Sorry to hear about your colitis flare up @Strawberry1, take things easy today, and hope you feel better soon0
-
Maybe have small amounts of comforting soup throughout the day, something to perk you up.
Also ask your GP if he can prescribe some nutritional drinks that you can sipp at times like this.
If your stressed about things, step back from them.0 -
Thank you @rebel11 , @Alex_Scope and @Beaver79 . Hope you are reasonably alright 👍. Hope you all have a pleasant day 😊0

@L_Volunteer , thank you for your kind words 😊. I have medication I have but it can take a little while to settle down . Hot water bottle and I snooze. I hope you are alright and I hope you have a reasonable day 😊. Please please 🙏 take care 🙂.0

Your welcome @Beaver79 , please 🙏 take care of yourself.1

I hope the hot water bottle and a snooze helped @Strawberry1! How have you been feeling more recently?0

Hello @L_Volunteer , big apologies for my late response. Things have been hectic at home . My stomach issue settled down eventually. I hope you had a good Easter. Plodding on bit by bit . I hope you are well . Take care of yourself and thanks again for your time and support ❤.0

Please never be sorry @Strawberry1. When you say things have been hectic at home, would you like to talk to us a little more about what that looks like for you?
Glad to hear your stomach issue settled down eventually. Easter was good here thank you - family time and extra chocolate. How was your Easter?
Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to support you further. We are here with you, you don't have to plod on alone if you don't want to0 -
@L _Volunteer , sorry for my late response. A kitchen re vamp . That's what's been hectic and it's still not finished due to people not turning up when they are supposed too . I don't deal with change very well . It sounds ridiculous I know but unless that's me .I hope you are alright. Glad you had a good Easter. Sorry its been a while. When I'm stressed I don't talk much .0

A kitchen re-vamp does, indeed, sound hectic @Strawberry1. It doesn't sound ridiculous at all. Remember, one autistic to another autistic here - I also hate change.
How is everything going for you now? Hopefully, a lot better and close to the kitchen re-vamp being complete.
I am good thank you. How are you and how was your Easter? Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to support you, especially in reducing your stress0 -
Hi L _ Volunteer, thanks again for your time and kind words 😊. I'm feeling a little easier with stuff at present. The kitchen is nearly done not much longer hopefully lol 😆 😅. Glad you are alright pleasing news . Easter was quiet . I dont mind quiet though and for the 1st time in a long time I had an Easter egg this year . I appreciate 🙏 everyone's kindness and time and I will be in touch if I need a chat . Please 🙏 take care of yourself and be kind to yourself too .Thanks0

Started my medication for my colitis last night . Apparently it can take up to 2 weeks to take affect . I was getting worried because the chemist had tried one place and couldn't get it . I was waiting a good few days before I received my medication. So glad they could get it though .0

Morning @Strawberry1
I hope the medication kicks in soon for you, and you feel some relief. I've had a mini crohn's flare recently so I can absolutely empathise. I imagine it was such a relief when the chemist finally got it in for you.
Take it easy and look after yourself Have you got much planned for this weekend or will you be resting?0 -
Hi @Cher_Scope , I sorry to hear you had a crohns flare . How are you at the moment? . It was a relief when the chemist got the meds . I'm not doing much this weekend. Just taking things steady . Please 🙏 take care of yourself too . Sending hugs.0
-
It sounds important that you are taking things steady this weekend @Strawberry1 - me too! What does taking the weekend steady look like for you? P.s. what easter egg did you have?0
-
@L_Volunteer , sorry for my late reply I'm not feeling too good . My mood is really low . I just rested and put the TV on . I had a gluten free Easter egg . I'm a coeliac. Sorry .0

Been taking the meds for my colitis, had a bit of a blip . Feel like I may be back on track now though 🤔.0

Glad to hear you are feeling back on track @Strawberry10

Thanks @Hannah_Scope . How are you?0
