Hello.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me.
I had phone call from pip advisor last Friday 31 of March 2023.
She told me she had awarded me pip and was sorting papers out so I can get payment but hadn't told me what my entitlements will be.
Obviously I understand this comes on the pip awarded letter.
What I want to know is how long will I have to wait for my pip awarded letter to come and how quickly will I get my backdate of pip as I have been waiting since end of March and my claim was made back last year. I'm new to pip benefits. Please be patient and kind I have heart disease and stage 3 emphasema and suffer with severe anxiety and depression. Thank you.

Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank. The decision letter will follow after that and can take a couple of weeks to arrive. If you want any further information on what you've been awarded and when exactly to expect any money owed then i'm afraid you'll need to ring PIP to ask.

Hello @invalid and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you today?
Well done on getting a rightful PIP award, I'm sure that came as a relief and the money will help you manage more easily.
Please let us know how you get on, and ask away with any other questions you might have. Just to advise - I've amended the title of your thread and moved it to our PIP, DLA and AA category to help others find it more easily.
Take care0
