Hello @Liverbird01 and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you keeping? I'm sorry to hear you're having a double knee replacement soon, I hope the op goes well for you.
Just to help me better understand, when you say you have an online appointment what is this in relation to? Are you filling in a PIP claim form or having an assessment? If you could provide a little more information that will help us better to support you.
Just to let you know, I've moved your thread to our PIP, DLA and AA category to make it more visible to our other members. Take care and hope to hear from you again soon0 -

Online assessment? I've never heard of this before. Do you mean telephone or video assessment?

@Liverbird01
Hi good luck with your knee replacements I had one last year, and waiting on the next one getting done.
Needing or having knee replacements won’t mean you automatically get Pip.
Pip is about how everything affects your daily life and how you cope or don’t cope.
Im not great at explaining things but hopefully someone with more knowledge will answer you.
Take care ❤️2 -
Hi. Thanks. I’m having it done in a few weeks so will be unable to do anything for a while0

Oh I know you have my sympathy, I hope you have someone to help you out even just at the start.
After I had mine my daughter would bring me dinners cooked, and get my shopping.
I did manage to get around the house with my crutches.0
