hello their.  I have just started claiming LCWRA and would like to know if i can claim carers allowance at the same time.

    LCWRA is part of UC. If you claim carers allowance it will just be deducted in full from any UC entitlement so there's no financial gain.
    As you've been found to have LCWRA then you won't be able to claim carers element of UC at the same time.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
