New style ESA and rental income

Is renting out a house classed as work for ESA purposes? I have nothing to do with the house, it's fully managed by an estate agent. I have to declare the income I make from it each year. What I've found is it is not counted for ESA unless it's from a pension and because I only have 1 it's not classed as a business so I'm not classed as self employed either. I don't want to make any errors and have to pay money back.

As it's your only property that you rent out then it will be disregarded for NsESA.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
