Jenson is adorable!! 😍
Jenson does have the same toy as Gwen! Hilariously, we took her for her regular check up at the vet (she's getting on 13 now) and she saw this toy hanging on a display stand. Walked up took it off, walked back and sat and started squeaking and chewing on it. My dad just went up to the counter and paid 😂0 -
Ha ha I wonder if the vets put the toys out like that on purpose!!1

More than likely @66Mustang it isn't the first time she's helped herself1

This is Hector asleep on my lap.1

Oh! 😍 Hector looks so peaceful!
I've never had a guinea pig, do they make good pets?0 -
Hi Hannah Yes they make lovely pets. I have kept Guinea pigs for 21 years. It started as pets for my Son age 9 . They soon became my pets and my Son is now 30.0
-
Awww. I always find you don't hear as much about Guinea Pigs, Rabbits...etc as cats and dogs take over the internet Well Hector looks like he's living the life!0
-
That is that is indeed the case Hannah. I think dogs and cats are the most popular pets and rabbits and Guinea pigs are regarded as children’s pets. Your dog Gwen is very cute though. I had a dog many years ago before the Guinea pigs but would be unable to care for one now as I have mobility issues and would not be able to walk a dog anymore.
I do think that pets enrich your life though and motivate you.1 -
Lovely pics of your pets, I don't have one the neighbourhood cats adopt me, plenty of cuddles from them2
-
@Purplenails Gwen is the family dog, if I was to have my own I'd have something smaller like a Corgi. As you said, they are difficult to take care of with health issues and I can't lift much.
I have now searched through TikTok looking at Guinea Pigs
Pet's can enrich your life, and are a lifeline for some. I have friends who wouldn't be without a pet.
Aww @Sandy_123 that's the best though, can give them back 😂0 -
Yeah I get the benefit of an animal, without vet fees lol1

Nice one Lol🤣1
