Pip Tribunal

I Applied in May 2022 for pip. I originally got refused due to time frame of my claim. I did get 8 points for daily living and 8 points for mobility but they said my condition will not last longer than 9 months that’s why they refused me,
My condition is the same / worse in my opinion. I added more evidence for my tribunal but I haven’t had confirmation that they have received it. So does that mean they haven’t received it?
I phoned pip and they said the current time in my area is 24 weeks from appealing we are now 29 weeks this week from the date I appealed and they said they have to wait until 5 weeks over to then make a claim does anyone know what this means?
Thank you so much for taking your time out to answer my questions.

PIP will not know the timescales for a Tribunal hearing. For this you need to contact HMCTS (Trubunal)
When you requested the Tribunal you should have received confirmation that they received it.Have you received the bundle yet?Em1 said:I appealed and they said they have to wait until 5 weeks over to then make a claim does anyone know what this means

Thank you answering.I received my bundle months ago but I added extra evidence onto my claim through the tribunal online.I’m not sure what she meant either. She said because they have gone over the time scale it should have taken to have my tribunal date she would have to put through a claim to them not me doing a new one.I am going to wait until the end of the week to phone again just incase but hopefully I will find out more answers in regards what to do.0

The timescales are only ever a guide. It’s not unusual to be waiting about 10 months, sometimes longer for a hearing date. The advice you were given about “going over the timescale” isn’t correct. You just need to wait for a hearing date.0

The timescale was in my original pip claim. They said my condition will last longer than 3 months but less than 9 months. That’s why I wasn’t awarded but here we are 11+ months from the date I applied still suffering.Il wait and see what happens. It’s a very stressful process. I’m so glad I found this forum to give me advice and hope that things can change through an appeal.0
