Morning , my husband has recently gone into care, was on p.i.p, high rate now its stopped so we now dont have a car to take him out or to medical appointments , what do I do now?

Hello @Jeanmarie I'm sorry to hear about what's happened. From what I can read on Turn2Us it sounds like it's only the daily living component which stops, not the mobility component?If your care home fees are paid in full or part by the local authority, National Health Service (NHS) or other public funds, payment of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) care component, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) daily living component, Adult Disability Payment (ADP) daily living component or Attendance Allowance (AA) will stop after you have been in a care home for 28 days.Have both elements stopped now stopped?
