Yes if UC have received it, they can send you a copy as soon as you request one.

Hi all yesterday I received a letter on my journal stating that I've had a overpayment due to a change in circumstances that will be deducted from my uc every month. I'm awaiting the wca desition does this indicate that I haven't been put in the LCWRA group as surely if I was owed back payment uc would have deducted it from that?

You need to clarify with UC what change of circumstance has caused an overpayment. This won't be related to an award of LCWRA as if awarded this you would have been underpaid.

Do you know what change in circumstances they are referring too?

Not everyone gets backpay from an LCWRA decision or has an under payment, as there is a waiting period of three full assessment periods before LCWRA element is payable so if the whole process completes fairly quickly no backpay is owed.

Hi both the overpayment is to do with my daughter leaving education and me not notifying uc promptly. When I had a meeting with my work coach i mentioned i havent recieved any over payment letters and i was worried about it and she said maybe my case manager was calcalating it to take from back pay if I got awarded lcwra but obviously after receiving the letter yesterday it states that uc will take overpayment back out of my monthly payments. Is this a indication that uc are aware of my wca desition and that I've failed wca but not communicate that with me?

No all it means is a decision hasn't been made yet.

As I advised not everyone qualifies for a LCWRA backpayment, if the decision is made within the waiting period (three full assessment periods) no money is paid or subsequently owed for that time so no backpay would be due.

As previously advised, timescales are anything up to 12 weeks for a decision. The length of time taken doesn't indicate your result will be a negative one.

All you can do is ask for a copy of the assessment report, to see what the assessor recommended (DWP Decision Maker usually follows the recommendation, but not always), and continue to wait.

Yes as I have advised several times, if DWP have received the report you can request a copy, regardless of the decision status.

HI I rang my doctors today and the receptionist said that dwp have not requested any information from them. Is this always the case? I sent a letter from my doctors stating that they feel I can't work over a certain amount of hours due to my anxiety and medication. I also sent minimal evidence from my doctors could this be why they haven't requested more information or could it possibly be to do with something else? Again any help will be appreciated

The DWP very rarely contact GPs for ESA, UC or PIP claims.

Im going to apologise in advance. I have some questions Is it likley that DWP will contact my employer to ask questions about me?

I've asked my case manager for a copy of my wca health care provider report and she said I can't get one until a desition is made. She also said thst as my case she cant get any update on my WCA is this correct please?

No the DWP would not contact your employer. Such an action without your consent would be illegal.

Did you write a note on your Journal to request the report, under which catagory did you use?

Your assessment report would be with a DWP Decision Maker. Are you corresponding with your case manager or work coach?
