Hi, I'm Alibali25! Can I write to PIP?

I dont have my original PIP awards letter. I have tried to get through to ask for a copy. Do you know if i can write to dwp about this as can't get through on the phone

    Hello @Alibali25 and thanks for reaching out, you're not the only member here struggling to get through to the DWP by phone. I'm afraid I'm not sure if you can write to them to request a copy of your letter. 

    One of the best times to ring is when the lines first open, and it might help to put it on speaker so that you can get on with other things while you wait. It's frustrating, but we wish you luck. I needed to do this last year and it took 20 minutes, but I think times vary.

    You can write to them yes but they may not respond.

    As advised, it's better to speak with someone directly but lots of other members have experienced similar problems getting through  :( This is the address listed on the PIP government webpage if you wish to give it a try:
