Hi, I'm paulwe! Is LCWRA backdated?

I spent 6 mounts in hospital last year,had a journal message in late September about wca form,never came,was told I was near the top of the list in February,it's now late April and my phone assessment is next week,I took forms from hospital to local job centre in September,serious long time,do they backdate pay if DWP award like pip do??

If found to have LCWRA then you'll be entitled to extra money from the 4th assessment period after you first reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. It's not paid at all during the waiting period, which is 3 full assessment periods.The date it's paid from will depend what date you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.0
