Hi I recently filled in application form online for PIP as for 25 years I have struggled with rheumatoid arthritis and finding it more and more difficult to work and just wondered how long its roughly taking for a decision to be made

It varies from a few months to several months. Before a decision is made you'll likely need an assessment because most people have them. These are mostly done through telephone, some are video and face to face. Please also be aware that PIP has nothing to do with your ability to work.0

Hi @foxyalf. How are you feeling about everything at the moment? Hopefully, someone can respond to you soon with roughly how long a decision takes to be made.
I believe it varies though. Has anyone given you an indication regarding how long it could take?
I mainly want to respond to say we hear you, have seen your post and we are here with you0 -
